Civil Works Company (CWC) is a Saudi-based company founded in 1973. A major milestone was achieved in 2016 when we became part of Al Awael Group (AMCC), the dedicated contracting platform of the RAR Group. Today, CWC proudly operates under Al Awael, joining a group of specialized companies with a shared mission to deliver niche contracting services across the Oil & Gas, Water, Marine, Pipeline, Specialty Maintenance, Precision Fabrication, Telecom, and Civil Construction sectors.

Our History

With over 50 years of success and an exemplary track record, CWC has established itself as a leading name in Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure sector. Since our first construction project in 1973, we have expanded our portfolio to include Operation and Maintenance activities and built a strong presence in various infrastructure projects. We have also become an active investor in the PPP market in Saudi Arabia.

We proudly build upon the legacy of Rashed AlRashed & Sons Group (RAR), one of the largest and most reputable conglomerates in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, dating back to 1950. The Group has played a significant role in developing and expanding Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure and economy, and we remain committed to supporting the nation’s growth in alignment with Vision 2030.

A major milestone was achieved in 2014 when we became part of Al Awael Modern Contracting Company (AMCC), established as RAR Contracting Group. Today, as the crown jewel of Alawael, we serve as RAR’s contracting arm, joining several companies with a mission to develop niche contracting services in Oil & Gas, Water, Marine, Pipeline, Specialty Maintenance, Precision Fabrication, Telecom, and Civil Construction.
